Fairfax Adds Another Charity Livery to the Fleet

At Fairfax Plant Hire, giving back to our community is something we’re incredibly passionate about.
Over the years, we’ve proudly supported a range of causes close to our hearts and in 2024, we continued that tradition with the addition of another charity-liveried machine to our growing fleet.
Back in late 2022, we introduced a custom Kobelco SK140SRLC excavator into our fleet, wrapped in a striking yellow design to show our support for the Yorkshire Air Ambulance (YAA). This vital emergency service relies entirely on donations to operate, providing rapid response air support across Yorkshire’s towns, cities, and remote countryside. The work they do truly saves lives, and we’re proud to help raise awareness and funds for their mission.

The YAA’s helicopter and crew have even made appearances at our last two charity cricket matches, creating real moments of excitement and connection for our guests. It’s a powerful reminder of just how essential their service is and how local businesses like ours can support their life-saving work.
This year, we’ve added a second charity excavator another Kobelco SK140SRLC this time wrapped in a bold two-tone blue and orange design in support of the Motor Neurone Disease Association (MNDA). We felt it was important to raise awareness and funds to help support the vital work being done to care for people living with MND and to fund research into a cure.
Motor Neurone Disease affects the nerves in the brain and spinal cord that tell muscles what to do. As the disease progresses, those affected can experience a range of symptoms, including muscle stiffness and cramps, speech difficulties, and problems with movement and swallowing. The MND Association works tirelessly to improve care, fund critical research, and campaign for better support across the UK.

Our charity cricket match events which have helped raise thousands for the Yorkshire Air Ambulance and MNDA. So far, thanks to the generosity of our partners Molson and Miller Groundbreaking for the wrapping of the machines, as well as everyone who’s supported our fundraising efforts, we’ve raised over £30,000 for charitable causes.
We’ve always believed in using our platform to make an impact. Raising funds and awareness for causes like YAA and MNDA means a lot to our team and our community. We’re proud of what we’ve achieved so far and we’re not stopping any time soon.
